About Me
Jade grew up locally amidst the beauty of the columbia river gorge. She was licensed as a massage therapist in 2006 after attending Ashmead Massage School in Vancouver. While she was there she became fascinated with anatomy, physiology and kinesiology, realizing that the human body is far more amazing than most of us know. This fascination became a passion and even during the times that she had to put her massage practice on the back burner she never stopped studying.
After massage school she went to work at Columbia Gorge Physical Therapy diving deep into treatment focused massage, therapeutic exercise and the healing process. She worked here for 10 years before returning to school to get her associates in science taking nursing pre-req’s including all the anatomy, physiology, chemistry and psychology she could. Though she didn’t continue on to nursing school these courses greatly deepened her knowledge and understanding of the body and helped her further realize how all the bodily systems are so deeply connected to one another. She then moved on to have an independent practice for 3 years before taking some time off from massage to deepen her own healing. She is very excited to be back offering hands on bodywork!

In recent years the study of the myofascial web, gut health and lymphatics have shown us how important each of these systems are to maintaining health. We have also learned how interconnected they are- if our fascia is restricted our lymph isn't flowing optimally, if our lymph isn't flowing our fascia becomes dehydrated and if our gut isn't healthy neither of these systems can function at their best. This is why she has chosen to focus her work on these three systems and their interconnectedness.

Jade enjoys time in nature, hiking and foraging. She is a hopeful gardener and amateur herbalist. She lives in Trout Lake with her husband, two teenagers, and a variety of animals.

In the few years she was away from massage she continued to take classes and support others with intuitive energy work, yoga, mindfulness and breathwork.
